Failure is one of those bands that paints a vivid audio/visual collage that plays on a loop in my head. I always envision the ethereal, surreal, space-related scenes, when I hear their music, and I tried to carry that over in the poster I created for their show here in 2015. Getting lost, and sucked into Failure’s music by these three amazing musicians is really all the explanation I need to give for why I came up with this design. At first, I had a completely different idea in my head, but after weeks of trying to perfect the poster, I completely scrapped the intial idea, and started from scratch. From start to finish, the final design only took about a week.
