The Ghost Room approached me while back to do a poster for the Old 97’s. After talking to Gary Briggs, the Sr. VP of A&R at New West Records, I got the poster done for their show with the right sponsors, and also allowed them the use of the poster for events where they would sign the poster as a giveaway. I knew they were a prominent Dallas band, and that they built a large following across the country, but I only knew a handful of their songs. I first discovered them years ago, on a compilation cd from a magazine, that contained their song “Murder or a Heart Attack.” Once I signed on, I checked out more of their work, and I became a bigger fan.
