Cowboy Mouth is one of those bands I’ve seen that can always make me leave their show in a happier mood than when I got there. If I had a bad day, going to their show usually trumped what happened before that, and made it one of the best days.
I’ve done a couple posters for Cowboy Mouth(cowboymouth.com) in the past, but I wanted to make this latest poster I did for them extra special. Each piece (bench, cowboy, guitar, motel, bricks of the motel,etc.) were all drawn separately, scanned, cleaned up in Photoshop, and then cleaned up again in Illustrator, where color was added. The band and their manager, Konrad, loved it, and they were printed and hung up all over Austin, in advance of the show. At 18″ x 24″ its also the largest poster I’ve done for any band.
